Advanced Spanish conversation students read a variety of Hispanic legends throughout the course. As part of their oral examination in Dr. Rodríguez's class, they were asked to choose a legend that they enjoyed and retell it to the class in their own words. They had to retell it by bringing it alive, using different animated techniques in order to keep their public’s interest and to have the public enjoy the legend as much as they did. In this video clip, students are speaking spontaneously and without the use of a script. The students are presenting information about legends that they read and discussed in class. Although everyone participated in the video production, only presentations that were clearer and more creative were selected in the final edit.
